A quick primer on what Cairn's watch complications are, what each one shows, and how to add them to your watch face.
What complications are
A complication is a small, glanceable view built into your watch face — it reads your latest Cairn data straight off the wrist, no need to open the app.
What Cairn offers
Cairn ships five complications: Mood, Streak, Energy, Detail, and Week, plus corner-slot variants of Mood, Streak, and Energy for faces with a dedicated corner wedge.
Adding one to your watch face
On your Watch, touch and hold the current face, tap Edit, swipe to the complications screen, tap a slot, and choose a Cairn complication from the list. You can also do this from the Watch app on iPhone under My Faces.
How they refresh
Complications read the same data your iPhone last synced to your Watch's shared storage. They refresh automatically shortly after a new entry syncs, and otherwise on a background schedule roughly every 30 minutes.

Pick the family that fits your face: circular and corner slots suit faces like Infograph, rectangular slots suit Modular and Infograph Modular, and the inline variant sits in the text row above Modular faces.
