Pattern alerts

Optional gentle nudges when Cairn notices a recurring pattern — three rough mornings in a row, an unusually quiet week, or a sustained shift in HRV.

What triggers an alert

Cairn watches for the same thing happening repeatedly — three heavy Mondays, a run of low-energy afternoons after long meetings. When a pattern is strong enough to be worth naming, it says so once.

Deliberately quiet

Alerts are rate-limited and easy to switch off entirely in Settings. An app that notifies you about your mood every day becomes something you mute, and a muted alert helps no one.

What to do with one

Nothing, if you disagree. An alert is Cairn showing its work — the entries behind it are always one tap away, and checking them is more useful than accepting the summary.
