Weekly dots

Seven dots, one per day of the past week — gold marks a day with an entry, dim marks a day without, and today glows brightest. A presence tracker at a glance, not a mood readout.

Seven dots, one week

Gold means you recorded that day, dim means you did not, and today glows brightest. It is a presence tracker: it answers "have I shown up this week", not "how have I been".

Why not show mood

Mood on a watch face is a summary of a summary, and it would be read a hundred times a day. Presence is a fact you can act on immediately; mood needs the context that only the full entry gives.

Reading a gap

A dim day is information, not a scolding. Cairn keeps no notion of a target — the dots exist so a week's shape is visible in the half-second you spend looking at your wrist.
